STEM Internship – AI & Fintech Focus

Job Description

We are looking for passionate STEM students to join our internship program, with a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs). As part of our growing team, you will work on real-world AI applications in fintech, contributing to projects that bridge Web2 and Web3.

This internship is ideal for students who are eager to apply their technical skills in a fast-paced startup environment, with opportunities to:

• Develop and fine-tune AI models (including LLMs) for financial applications, such as compliance automation, transaction monitoring, and chatbot development
• Research and evaluate state-of-the-art AI technologies, including generative AI, NLP, and computer vision, for practical fintech use cases
• Participate in AI-driven projects such as workflow automation, AI-enabled research, and data analysis using Python and machine learning frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, compliance) to design and implement AI solutions
• Conduct market research and data analysis to identify trends and AI opportunities in the digital payment industry
• Support business and operations teams to drive user adoption of our digital products
• Engage in innovation and fintech projects, contributing to documentation and deliverables that incorporate AI capabilities
• Map and optimize user flows for key internal applications, identifying AI-driven improvements
• Contribute to the redesigning of the existing digital tools to improve efficiency and usability through AI integration

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration, AI, IT, Design, Fintech, Multimedia, or related field
• Available for a 2-month internship during the summer from June to August.
• AI/ML proficiency: Familiarity with Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow; exposure to LLM fine-tuning, NLP, or machine learning is a strong plus
• Interest in cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, Web3, and the digital payments industry
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required, proficiency in English and Cantonese
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach

Interns will be assigned to departments to perform tasks and learn new skills in accordance with their interests and the needs of the Company
